I’ve always had awful memory. I don’t mind but it’s a bit sad when there’s an occasional nice memory I want to keep. Maybe that’s why I started journaling years ago. Whenever something good happens I always try to write it down in as much detail as possible so I don’t forget. I taught myself to type on a typewriter first and then on a computer. At some point all my journals became digital and I stored them on floppies. This was much more convenient than having endless heavy notebooks piling up.
