Written on a bus out of Cusco, Peru, Street dog came to page after spending a week in a hostel observing a bad bitch named Rosa. She’d steal your seat and your food when you weren’t looking, and you’d notice her in town with her gang looking at you like she didn’t give fuck. But she was soft and sweet underneath the harsh exterior, and just wanted to be loved. This song is literally about a street dog. A little bit of dog in all of us.
