Three Seasons Podesta Constantine was a professional Tour Guide who knew the perfect time of day to photograph a sugar cane field. She could plan an idyllic river excursion, expertly navigate swamps, and trusted the rainforest. She told tourists the Caribbean had three seasons, the Rainy season, the Dry season, and the Whatever season when it couldn’t decide on either. Guests on her tours were taught how to be patient and slow their breath when a rare animal was near. Her home was high up on a hill but her heart lived everywhere on the island, from coast to coast with every waterfall, and undulating valley between. This paradise was hers.
