A Life Short Lived

Inspired by the life of Giuliano de' Medici, which was cut short before he could build his own legacy. The brother of Lorenzo the Magnificent, Giuliano was born into the Medici family and was considered the golden boy of that era. He was loved and admired by some of the most talented and famous men of his day, including Michelangelo Buonarroti, Leonardo da Vinci, and Raphael. However, he was tragically assassinated at a young age in a plot known as the Pazzi conspiracy. This work is meant to evoke feelings of loss and longing in viewers. It is a reflection on when someone is taken from the world too soon, we often lose the potential that they might have had to make a difference.
