Vesuvius

"Vesuvius," loosely inspired by the hand-painted "color" films of the early 1900s, features twin sisters shortly after the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius buried the city of Pompeii in 79 AD. In my mind, the story being told is one of returning home only to find its absence. [] EPHEMER(Ai) is a synthetic photography project inspired by photographic ephemera like film slides, photo prints, and other analog processes. This fictional imagery uses the perception of photorealism as a tool to create compelling visuals and stories. Over time, it will also serve as an archive documenting the ongoing evolution of AI's photorealistic capabilities.
