The infamous High Renaissance fake is no longer lost thanks to a twitching thumb (please note the pentimenti). The density of this painting proved to be too much for the National Gallery, the Louvre, & even a particular Saudi prince. Upon further inspection by Art Historians, a hamful of easter eggs have also been verified to be painted by Leonardo ham Vinsea himself, rather than his degen pupils. This work's parent fake, "Salvator Mundi", last sold for $450.3 USD.
