THE DARK EDGE

Sonam, is an Aryan living in Dha Village in Ladakh. Aryans are considered to be the direct descendants of Alexander's army which settled here. They have very unique facial features like broad cheekbones, large ears, and blue eyes. Sonam, like other Aryans, lives in a stone house. At first look, their settlement still resembles that of some old stone age settlement. While they are getting modern and have started constructing their houses on modern-day architecture, they still lead a very humble life. I have always been fascinated by Sonam’s unique expressions.
