Baker's Cauldron

It was a short and easy hike from the Artist Point parking lot to this overlook of Mount Baker back in 2018. I was setting up my tripod for a few quick snapshots when I realized that the clouds in the valley below were bubbling and roiling, almost like a cauldron full of something about to boil over. What was supposed to be a few seconds rest to catch my breath turned into a half hour of timelapse shooting! The result is, I think, quite dreamy...
