Fantasy Meets Reality

I saw something somewhere that said fantasy is not something that helps us escape reality but it is something that allows us to embrace reality. This made me think so much. Perhaps it is how we blend the fantasy with the reality. We cannot have just either or, right? We need both for different reasons. Life itself does not carry a whole lot of meaning but perhaps we add that meaning through fantasy. I like to think this piece reflects the complex thought above.
