Nostalgia

The image is processed with Floyd–Steinberg dithering, which is an image dithering algorithm first published in 1976 by Robert W. Floyd and Louis Steinberg. The method is introduced in the TouchDesigner (software for visual coding) tutorial of Paketa12. I find it very interesting to see a beautiful image created with AI become like the nostalgic Nintendo. The image is inspired by my favorite portrait, Johannes Vermeer’s ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring (1665)’.
