I've been going to barbershops since I was a kid. Posters like this often lined the walls, were even positioned right outside to invite customers in.
Recently, I found that these posters were not just a display of hairstyles: They started to mean more to me. To me, they were choices that we could make as men in the society.
Seen by some as the most common place for the exhibition of toxic masculinity, barbershops could as well be urging us to be better men by presenting us with these varieties of choices.
So, man, choose the man you will become.
