Human nature has a tendency to pause to watch destruction or violence. When calm desert skies transform into nature's anger during the summer monsoon season, I passionately pursue these fleeting storms in an effort to create a sky candy that others have never seen before. Every storm, unique. This mesmerizing scene was captured at sunset in my home town of Rio Rico, Arizona on September 23, 2022. Watching storms like these unfold gives me renewed energy and purpose, and it only drives me further to seek out even more extraordinary moments with the time I have left.
