Weather, Walls, and Wonder

If you look closely, you can see the U.S./Mexico International Border Fence near the base of the mountain. On July 19, 2022, a sun baked day in the far southern Arizona desert was transformed within minutes into a blazing sky of rain, rainbow and color. From this vantage point, you peer across the U.S./Mexico border where a powerful monsoon storm rages over this majestic peak. Sunset was only minutes away, and the light provided an absolutely surreal and magical moment. The passionate pursuit to capture extraordinary scenes like this continues while I still have breath.
