This Reclaimed Stolen Scream of people, places and protests is based upon a photograph of the Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmed Qassim (Arabic: آية الله الشيخ عيسى أحمد قاسم) presenting a gift basket circa 2012 in Bahrain. He is the leading Shia cleric, politician and spiritual leader of Al Wefaq, Bahrain's biggest opposition society. The Ayatollah is also the founder of the Islamic Enlightenment Institution. Since we were not able to identify the photographer or connect with the Characters in this image to obtain their permission (and duly recognize their contribution), the photograph has been modified by our Community Co-Creators to create a derivative work.
