Ngā Whetū

Ngā Whetū - The stars... I have a fascination with the night sky. My ancestors once navigated this world by sea using them to find their way. It's a skill not held my many these days. But I have always been drawn to them, the deep thoughts you have when star gazing is a time that is much needed. I decided on the long, intricate shapes to not only recongnise the uncountable stars that surround us, but the long journey my people took upon themselves to find this great land using them.
