The Woods is the childhood place of nightmares that we go back to as we cope with trauma. This texture rich abstract depicts sheer cliffs, claustrophobic trees like bars in a prison and the murky line of trees and sky. It is a space that one can find themselves lost in for hours or decades. As one searches for the light, they need to look within, but many do not!
