Because the wave hunt never ends. Which reminds me of this. Jumping into something you love and learning, letting art lead the way. Which leads us to the beach. A place that expresses the nature of reality, waves. It’s in those waves that I’m learning to grow, witness, and process life. The highs and lows, the many moods, and the changing tides. I love to focus and let go of the beautiful tension. These are the waves that light me up. And that’s what going swimming is about. Showing up every day to learn, create, and share that feeling with friends. We only get one life and waves are the perfect reminder of that. Happy to have these photos to show for it. It’s a beautiful sunrise along the coast. Clouds and first light illuminating the atmosphere with candy like colors. Ripples of the ocean with some sea foam bokeh. A pelican soaring in the distance above the local boats. Observations of nothing in particular. Just a beautiful scene that I was lucky to witness. I love to shoot a breaking wave but sometimes the moments in between sets are the most energizing.
