I've been looking at this piece now since August last year. Initially I had written it off as a simple example of image making and wasn't sure if it was something I would ever finish.
I now believe Tokyo Rain represents somewhat of a breakthrough in my practice. While it isn't set on the foundation of a long thought out concept - it is an unintentional, unvarnished reflection of where I was in that moment.
