‘8-Ball Disassociation’ is a frame-by-frame animated artwork that captures the essence of dissociation and disheartenment through surreal satire and strange visual imagery. The animation consists of 101 frames that take the viewer on a journey of the protagonist's disconnection from reality. The center-piece of the artwork is a snooker table, with the 8-ball serving as a metaphor for the protagonist's failed attempts to connect with their surroundings. To add to the surreal nature of the piece, imagery also visualises the feeling of being drained, as if one's own thoughts are consuming them, using a Venus flytrap 2382 x 3850px Made using 101 frames
