Long live the DAO

30 April 2021 marks 5 years since the genesis of The DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization at the forefront of blockchain technology innovation. Minted on the eve of what would have been its 5th birthday, the token chronicles the life and legacy of The DAO. Once a living organism, now new life grows in its imperfections. The token features the vulnerable function that was exploited, the white hat hackers, and details on the genesis event. While the original DAO's faith has been sealed, my hope is for the holder of this token to appreciate the lessons learned from mistakes past, and cherish the progress that has been made and is being made every day in this space.
