Symbiotic Muse

Am I creating art, or does the art create me? That was the question I took away from a good conversation on the artistic process. Without fail, a piece will take on a form of its own. What I intend it to be never turns out quite what it wants to be. I can't say for sure whether my art reflects me, or if I reflect my art.
