Trash Art tribute, "Call Warhol"
This old pay phone was captured during a trip up the Pacific Coast Highway a few years back. We were heading to Eureka from San Francisco, and it was during a pit stop that this disowned Ma Bell child presented itself.
Once a token of communication, the pay phone is now just a distant memory in the age of being able to communicate via a device in your pocket. The colors used differ from each other in tone, but are also complementary to one another; overall they are meant to evoke a sense of nostalgia and vivid playfulness.
