Ceasefire

A companion piece to my photo "Glory". The thick, oppressive clouds at war with the sunlight mirrored the state of our minds. Taken during a week long storm, shortly after losing my grandmother and feeling the weight of that loss deep in our souls, these photos represent inner chaos and the peace that comes with moving forward. After watching the darkness and light battle above us for what felt like an eternity, this brilliant "Ceasefire" was a gift to our weary hearts.
