"A Turtle Wearing a Wizard Hat, Smoking a Cigar" first appeared in the first issue of the comic book series, "Truth" by Jared Carver, in 2012. The turtle has since been put on shirts and other merch as the mascot of the series. The comic was funded through multiple crowdfunding campaigns on Kickstarter. The original line art was commissioned by Francis "Frost" Llamzon and the color was later added by Juan Ontiveros. This is the first minted NFT by Jared Carver aka Karverdelic.
