Shot by Brian Bielmann in Tahiti, the photographer captured a “code red swell” of epic proportions, which describes Fletcher’s mastery and bravery to a “t.” Towed in because of the wave’s mammoth size, Fletcher emerged from the water’s collapse is described as “the craziest wave, ever ridden by a human.” We couldn’t agree more.
