AC/DC: London Hammersmith Odeon 1978 by Steve Joester #6/10

**The Rolling Stones at Earl’s Court Stadium in London, 1976** This show was part of the Stones tour nicknamed 'The Starfucker’ and it was their first big stage production. They spent 6 nights at the Earl’s Court Stadium and all of the shows were sold out. There were over 19,000 people in the crowd each night and no one was disappointed. Dave Mason took me over to the show that night and I remember the show opening with a huge closed lotus shape opening up into a star shaped stage with Mick riding one of the petal points down and going straight into their hit song Honky Tonk Women.
