I noticed how magical and powerful was always the ritual of haircare. Setting the mood, choosing one day of the week exclusively for that, buying products that were safe, shaping the hairstyle and the most important: loving the process. I connected with more women that felt the same, it was a common denominator when talking about natural hair. All those conversations inspired me to create this project. Capturing this moment in the way I perceived it. Women, in their power, brushing their hair and feeling themselves. 

We are all deserving of love. Let the most important love flow, self-love. Love is the purpose, and I’m hoping you connect with this and feel inspire to go down the road of putting yourself first and loving who you were, who you are, and who you will be.

Andrea is an artist. She loves painting and using gold on her paints. As a masterpiece herself she models for the camera while brushing her black curls with a golden comb.  
At her own place, using only things found at her studio and house, we created a set just for her. Where she can feel kissed by the orange, gold and cyan lights. Colors that are also present on her paintings. She inspires me. Cause as a woman, she loves the skin she's in, taking care of herself is a ritual. Grapeseed oil, warm water and good music on, she enters her zone and admires who she has become. Powerful, talented, and brilliant woman.
