This is a famous scene amongst the UK landscape photographer fraternity, the River Coupall on the edge of Rannoch Moor close to the Pass of Glencoe, overwatched by Stob Dearg, part of Buachaille Etive Mor mountain. I'm drawn to this image as it reflects the often moody nature of this landscape. No epic light, but being weather beaten by the elements. There are more spectacular images from this location but I feel this image catches the true atmosphere of what it feels like to be here more often than not.
