THE OLD STORY

In the old story, before the universe was created, there was only one thing in existence: the Old Story. It was an infinite book, containing every story and every possible story that could ever be told. Every story that ever was told, told the story of the Old Story. And every story that will ever be told, told the story of the Old Story. In the beginning, the Old Story was written in ink made from the blood of gods and goddesses. But over time, the ink began to fade and the stories within it began to lose their meaning. The Old Story began to die.
