Wyoming Recognizes DAOs
After passing the house and senate, Wyoming governor Mark Gordon signed the state's focused DAO legislation "Bill 38" into law effective July 1st. This is the first time that decentralized autonomous organizations are being recognized with legal status in the United States as LLCs where shared decisions can be made from a business perspective on Ethereum's blockchain and smart-contract technology.
