Whale hello there! The scale of everything in Antarctica is challenging to show in images. This whale was easily bigger than the zodiac I was in and those glaciers and peaks are fairly far away and yet look so big. I love the power of photography and learning how to use focal lengths to change how the image looks. This was shot on a Sony 200-600mm lens. A really incredible lens that most of my penguin images were taken with because I loved the compressing that happens at longer focal lengths.
