galleries I

this work represents the first on the subject of "galleries" i have always had a natural appreciation for how art inspires awe. however, i never paid much attention to art history. true to form, i wasn't inspired to dive in until i felt intimidated.. in a room full of artists at first, all i saw was what i didn't know and how "behind" i was vs the opportunity to discover + the space to grow eventually, my apprehension and awkwardness (practice) compounded into confidence (experience) in reflection, i suppose my way of finding my "fit" was seeing exhibitions as a place of study and curiosity — an ongoing research/interview assignment — what i have practice and experience with rememberin...View all
