In 1960, Bill Murray’s father, Ed Murray, took Bill to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Glenview, IL. “There was a guy from Massachusetts who was speaking there. We stood outside and listened to John F. Kennedy speak through these speakers outside. And when John F. Kennedy came out, my father pushed me all the way through the crowd, all the way through Secret Service, and into the man who would be the President of the United States. That was my father.”
