Portrait of Tokyo (2024)

Portrait of Tokyo (2024) is the 2024 edition of the series started in 2018, and is based on photographs provided by photographer mag, as in the 2022 edition. This time, the work is a telephoto composition of skyscrapers in the Nishi-Shinjuku area, Shinjuku subcenter, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. The landscape of Tokyo has changed dramatically over the past 20 years, with skyscrapers rising in Marunouchi, Bayside, the Roppongi area, Shibuya, and even areas that were once just bedroom communities in the suburbs.
