In all my years of chasing I had never seen a white tornado till this year. This year in Iowa we had one of the most incredible chases were only a few other chasers on the storm. Storms were slow to go up and we were outside of SPC's 10%. Almost everyone went east to SE Iowa, we stuck to our gut and the west central Iowa play near the low. Storms were slow to get going and did not look impressive at all. But finally, this storm quickly wrapped up and produced one of the most stunning photogenic tornados that I have ever seen.
