Stormy Mt. Evans

Watching this storm move slowly towards me at 14,000 ft is a moment that I will never forget. This past summer we took a trip to Colorado and had a small window to summit Mt. Evans. Four years ago, I missed an incredible moment with storm up there. I went back one other time before this to try again with no luck. This summer we lucked into a monsoon I sat up there for over an hour waiting for storms to form. Finally, the clouds started to billow, and the thunder started to rumble. Being up that high above the cloud base was truly incredible a moment that I will never forget.
