Ocean Calling

I shot this image in Nazaré, the best surfing spot on Earth where waves can reach up to 100ft; now, you might be wondering where the surfers are. Let me tell you why I spent most of my time here where there was no action instead of shooting the fight between surfers and the ocean. As a photographer, I always love to see different, unpopular things that would give me the chance to be unique and special. Here in this image, you can see how small and unprotected we are against nature, yet we stand in front of it and dare to watch it without any fears from a safe distance.
