The Warming Scent

When I was a child, we used to go to my parents' hometown during the holidays and my grandmother used to cook for us over a wood fire. The word holiday still evokes in me the smell of a warm village house and a wood fire. In this acrylic on canvas painting, I explore and express those warming memories.
