The Bay at Sunrise

The sun rises as the tide moves out. The headland, dark and foreboding, soon to be a welcoming haven in the light of day, and as the sun's rays begin to play, right throughout the day. Taking attempt after attempt to find the right shutter speed, and then, the right amount of movement, this image was made so as to resemble a painted work. Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) involves the movement of the camera at a specific speed and/or direction during the operation of the shutter, resulting in a blurred image that still contains detail and a story of what it is about, and what it contains. This image contains no AI or Photoshop effects.
