Beach Sunrise

The harsh mornings sun rises in the sky yet reflects softly on the wet sand along the tide line. As harsh as the sun is, the soft pastel colours of the sand and ocean please the eye. Taking attempt after attempt to find the right shutter speed, and then, the right amount of movement, this image was made so as to resemble a painted work. Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) involves the movement of the camera at a specific speed and/or direction during the operation of the shutter, resulting in a blurred image that still contains detail and a story of what it is about, and what it contains. This image contains no AI or Photoshop effects.
