The first crackling sounds you hear are from a dried seedpod I found walking along the beach. I took the seedpod home and recorded my fingers strumming the brittle and dry texture on the outside of the seedpod, this created the sound I then sampled and used. When I listen to this record I hear the raw creativity I was tapped into when creating this album. Lots of all nighters and long days finding vintage gear that added to the “color” of the sonic palette I was producing.
