Galešnjak Island, also known as the "Island of Love," is a small heart-shaped island located in the Adriatic Sea, near the town of Turanj in Croatia.
Although not much is known about the island's history, there is a local legend that says the island was formed by the tears of a fairy who fell in love with a local shepherd. The fairy's tears formed a heart-shaped island where the couple could live happily ever after.
