The Narcissus Cock is a perennial flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region. It is known for its tall, slender stem and blue-gray delicate half-circle spindly flowers that bloom in the spring. The leaves of the plant are long and narrow, and form a rosette around the top of the stem, protecting the flowering bud.
Despite its delicate appearance, the flower has a bold and cocky personality, exuding confidence and self-assurance.
To attract pollinators it will sway its rosette, and “cock” its flowering head. It is a natural propagator, using its seeds and underground bulbs to spread and reproduce, ensuring the continued survival of the species.
