deer [ tangling like ivy] 23

deer song, track 4 from my first ep- leaving flowers out. this song is an iphone recording, I wrote it in a couple hours and decided to put that original demo on the project. it’s a half-song about looking back fondly on how momentary a connection can be, and the beauty in that. my good friend Kaleb Fulmer and I wrote and shot the video together. playing around with galvanized wire, we thought there was something interesting about the way it looked tangled up, and against some vines in our backyard. like deer wrapping around each other. 🦌 harcourt paloma 2023
