Elegy #1/10

Elegy was one of the first songs I wrote using electric guitar, having previously only played acoustic. I got a Les Paul sometime around 2006 and started recording basic concepts. Elegy began as a little guitar melody over an atmospheric synthesizer arpeggio and by 2010 I had expanded it to a minimal disco composition. Around this time Zac came in and recorded the bassline which finally gave it a sense of completion. If memory serves this was the last song we finished and fittingly serves as the album closer.
