Guilt and hatred

This is my first painting since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. I made it at the moment of realizing that if my nation had spoken and resisted earlier, at a time when "Putin's army" was not yet so strong and we could speak out, this war might not have happened. But instead we eked out our miserable lives, endured and obeyed. While painting this picture, I felt pain for my nation. Canvas 50x60 cm, oil.
