The Two Moon Spirits

Two young spirits stood arguing by shores of The Ocean of Balance. Both were fond of the moons - and lay claim to them all. The Great Lupus and the Maiden Selene realised they could not agree until eventually, they made a pact - they would split their duties. Selene would manage the balance in all things. Lupus would manage the oceans above and within. The first to shirk their responsibility would give up their claim. The spirits do not always do a good job. Some days the world feels off balance, and other days, it feels like you are under the largest ocean. However, one seems to help the other, setting things right. I think they forgot about their deal a long time ago.
