Driving along highway 5 north into Mt Robson Provincial Park guests are greeted into the park by Mt Robson. The tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Located just 72 km west of the town of Jasper Alberta.
Towering at 3954m tall the relief of Mt Robson is a stunning 3144m above the highway. A remarkable figure considering the summit of Mt Everest is 3468m above the climbers base camp.
Mt Robson was first summited 110 years ago by Conrad Kain and W. W. Foster. The Kain route is now the most popular climbing route up this iconic peak.
