Project Statement: From his school days spent designing one-shot comic books to working with a digital pad, Bad Oats has cultivated a distinctive style that combines personal expression with broad media and cultural influences, including Japanese anime and Black and African aesthetics. The NFT series Supervillainy comprises the young artist's most accomplished character design, style approaches, and art concepts to date. Bio: Bad Oats is an emerging Nigerian artist whose character design and fashion illustration is heavily inspired by Japanese media, Black aesthetic, and fashion/editorial magazines.
