'THE BAND' Fleet Carnival, England 2000

THE BAND Photographed in my home town of Fleet, Hampshire in the summer of 2000. The yearly procession was a big deal when I was growing up. It would snake its way through our small town, the community cheering in later years the kids would water bomb the floats. When I was in cub scouts we joined the procession in fancy dress costumes. In this image are ‘The Old Romsey Cadets’ taking a break, a marching band they would dress up and perform every year. The theme of the carnival that year was ‘The Millennium’.
